While I was in KY,

I woke up to coffee service every morning, courtesy of my stepfather, Dick.

I visited with a couple of high school friends.

Oliver got a new scooter and helmet.

He was also allowed to drink out of a fancy glass and asked that I take a picture of it.

We visited Gavin at Kroger, where his cub scout group was selling popcorn. I love this picture because in it, Ken is holding an ecstatic to see his uncle, Oliver; Megan is trying to read the ingredients on the back of a package of popcorn, while this young cub scout, a true born salesman and full of personality, kept pitching the products to her, and Gavin, trying to hold still long enough for me to get his picture.
