Saturday Brewiers nursing home had a Jamboree, with cloggers, music, BBQ, a car show, and a dunking booth.

Brewier was the dunkee for an hour and a half. Because the tank is so shallow, and he is 6 feet tall, he came home with multiple bruises. I tried to dunk him and ended up throwing the ball down the hill. Oliver was a better shot than me, hitting the target, but not with enough force to make Brewier fall in...so we hit the target with our hand.
Sunday, (which was not a good day to sight see because nearly everything was closed,) despite being sore and bruised, Brewier thought it would be fun for the two of us to take a drive. We went south west to Sylva, Dillsboro, Franklin, then down into GA and Dillard, Sky Valley, then back to Highland, NC. Whew. When the girls were young, we would stay in a cabin with my mom nearly every fall, and those were the towns we would visit. It's also gem mining country, and Megan has been dying to pan for gems again, so we will be going back to this mine.
