St. Leo

Not far from us is the little town of St. Leo, Florida and in the town is Saint Leo University. Brewier had driven by it last month and thought it would be a nice place to walk around, so Saturday while Megan diligently worked on her Etsy shop, we took Oliver with us for a stroll around the nearly deserted campus.

I like how the benches that dot the campus have the name of the university cut out on the back.

Oliver liked the fountain.

After we got home I read about the school on Wikipedia. Its pretty interesting. It ended racial segregation in 1898, before it was legal to do so and it was one of the first American universities to provide distance learning opportunities to students, especially to the military.

I can't get over how BLUE your skies are! :D

(oh, and I'm now blogging over at Mireio. . . after ten years at Evidently, it's time to reinvent myself!)

The skies aren't blue like that in Orlando anymore. That's the main reason we moved...too much pollution.
