Another Day, Another Bajillion Boxes.

Darlene came over this morning to help me organize this mess of packing and sorting. We took apart the guest bed and that room is now being used to hold things we are taking with us. The lanai and garage are holding our estate sale items. The rest of the house is strewn with half packed boxes and Olivers toys. It feels strange living in a house that no longer feels like home.

I feel your discomfort - we went through this last November when we finally moved to MUCH smaller house - still haven't sold other place and it is just creepy at times going over there - memories whistle through and all around. Getting rid of stuff is SO freeing - trust me on that one. Realizing I did not ever use/need 9 clear glass vases - well it just was an epiphany --says she humorously. Actually it is amazing how much we accumulate and how nice it is when we only have what we use, need or deeply love around us - less stuff = freedom!
