The day was very low key. For the last 15 years we've spent the day at Mark and Darlenes, but they went out of town, so it was just Brewier, Megan, Oliver and I. Megan had planned out and shopped for the meal earlier in the week which was good since we were both sick. Megan did most all of the cooking; I made the cranberry sauce, (2 cups of fresh cranberries, 1/2 and orange, 3/4 cup of sugar and 2 tablespoons of Makers Mark, all thrown together in the food processor,) the broccoli salad, sweet potato casserole, and the table setting.
The day started with blogs, the Macy's parade, and pumpkin pie oatmeal, bacon and coffee.

Of course, photos had to be taken before eating.

This was Oliver's first Thanksgiving and he had his turkey and sweet potatoes well blended.

A note on out meal. It was all organic fresh ingredients and made from scratch, as most of our meals are. Megan made a green bean casserole from fresh beans onions and mushrooms that was delicious, and I don't normally touch green bean casserole. The one processed food we had was Stove Top stuffing, and I'm embarrassed to say it was my favorite part of the meal.
