When Life Hands You Lemons


and threatens to freeze them off your tree, make limoncello.


This first step takes two simple ingredients; lemons and pure grain alcohol....oh and patience. Lots of patience to peel the lemons and then scrape them making sure there is no white pith left on the back.



Now its just a matter of waiting a couple of months while the lemon peels infuse their goodness.

I never have an abundance of lemons but made lemoncello once. I decided it was so much work that I would just buy it from now on. I sure do like it.
