I'm Crushed.

This afternoon on my way home from work I went through the McDonalds drive through to get a cup of coffee. I pulled up to the window ordered a small coffee and was given the senior citizens price of .74. I was happy about saving .28, but do I really look over 55? I'm trying to convince my self its because I was bundled up in a coat and wearing my sunglasses.

or maybe it was a disgruntled mc donalds employee who was sticking it to The Man by giving everyone the discount so mcdonalds would lose 25 percent of the profits for the shift....maybe?

Monica, that theory works for me :)

Definitely liked Monica's theory. Because you do NOT look 55. AT ALL. Seriously. NOT. Had to be the coat and sunglasses. Or the person in the drive through was 19 and to them everyone over 30 is old.

That is ridiculous! You don't look anywhere near that age! Can you really buy coffee for 74 cents? The coffee I buy when I'm at work costs $3.90. $4.50 if I get an organic one.

Maybe they wanted to give you a discount because they thought you were cute!

I don't think you look a day over 30! And, I like Megan's theory :)

I'm kind of insulted when I ask for a senior citizen's price on tickets and they don't even question my age. It would be nice to be asked for ID as they used to do in bars when I was 20.

I had the same thing happen at the grocery store they said oh wait you get the senior citzens discount today don't you. You know if it was not for the extra 15% off my order I would have been tempted to smack the little pimple infested weazel. Trust me it was close but the money won out.
