Vodka. It's Not Just For Martinis.

Its actually a, "green," product. You can clean away mold, add it to your shampoo for shinier hair and treat poison ivy by pouring some on the affected area. If that doesn't help. I guess you could always do a shot and not care about the poison ivy. Find other uses HERE. As for me, I'm off to swish some vodka around in my mouth to try and treat this toothache.

I've been making my own vanilla with vodka for years. It is so much better for us and doesn't hurt that someone has to drink a little off the top before the beans get put in the bottle! *hiccup*

I think I'm the person who would take a shot and not care about the poison ivy anymore.

I'm thinking vodka in the eyes in the shower....I'll just stick to cider vinegar for now...

I also make my own vanilla extract using vodka like Beck above(and vanilla vodka to drink - is there anything not improved by vodka?) The other day Fin was headed to a birthday party and because he can't drink juice or fizzy pop I made him some cream soda with sparkling mineral water, honey and vanilla extract. It was truly delicious!

However, it was only after he had disappeared around the corner in a friend's car that I realised I had put two teaspoons of vanilla extract in his soda. That's 10ml of vodka in a child's drink - almost half a shot!

On his return Fin reported that the party was, 'the best ever' and that he loved everyone - and then went out for a kebab (ok, now I'm embelishing).

Please don't report me to child services - I won't do it again, I promise.....
