He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.

Matthew 28:6
A happy Easter to everyone! For Brewier and I this is a very diferent Easter. This is our first Easter in 23 years with no children or Easter baskets. There is no gathering of friends or family, everyone is busy with other plans, and we probably won't be able to go to chapel today because of people who think perfume and aftershave are part of their church attire. Because of all these unusual circumstances, we decided earlier in the month, that we would go to Anna Maria Island, something we had planned to do on our anniversary back in February, but it was unusually chilly then. Well because of this freakish cold front, today's high is only 67 degrees! Not exactly beach blanket weather. Soooooo, I'm sitting here, missing family, friends, and fellowship, and trying to focus on being grateful for what Easter is really about.
My dear friend Sarah is heavy on my heart this morning, as she is having an Easter unlike any other, and I would ask for your continued prayer for her and Ellie and the rest of the family.
